Queen Opeyemi Omobolanle, one of the wives of the late Alaafin of Oyo State, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, has become a landlady in the closing days of the year.
She took to her Instagram page to share the news of her new house, expressing gratitude and self-congratulations for the achievement.
Her followers joined in the celebration, offering their congratulations and well-wishes.
Last year, Queen Omobolanle had appreciated the late monarch’s thoughtful gift to her and the other wives, expressing her gratitude for his support during their times of need.
She highlighted the late Alaafin’s gesture of gifting her a house, along with similar gestures towards his other wives, as a part of their inheritance.
Following the monarch’s passing, Queen Omobolanle shared details of his final acts, including a significant gift for her and a planned trip to the holy pilgrimage.
She paid tribute to him, expressing her love and the difficulty of saying goodbye to him.

The murder of the renowned South African rapper, Kiernan Forbes, popularly known as AKA, has led to the arrest of six suspects.
According to reports from NewsNow, AKA and his close friend were fatally shot outside a restaurant in the coastal city of Durban in February 2023.
Tragically, AKA and his companion, Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motshoane, fell victim to armed assailants as they were heading towards their vehicle.
During a recent press briefing, the KwaZulu-Natal provincial police commissioner, Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, disclosed that the apprehended suspects are set to appear in court on Thursday.
In a widely circulated online video, Lieutenant-General Mkhwanazi provided insights into the arrests and the roles each suspect played in the rapper’s untimely death.
He emphasized, “It became evident that AKA was under surveillance from the airport and Tibz was not the primary target in the fatal shooting on Florida Road in Durban.
“We are aware that they were financially motivated for this act,” he added.

Logos Olori, a signee of DMW, asserted that he penned the lyrics to the Grammy-nominated track ‘Unavailable’ by his record label chief Davido, which features Musa Keys.
He expressed that he was the mastermind behind the track, with his colleague Peruzzi contributing to the verse.
In a recent interview with Cool FM in Lagos, the singer revealed this information.
According to Logos Olori: “We created ‘Unavailable’ which got a Grammy nod. The collaborative effort happened in Ajah involving myself, Magicsticks, and Ragee. It was even Rihanna’s favorite song in 2023.”
He further elaborated: “I crafted the song, while Peruzzi was responsible for the verse. Following the initial creation, Davido requested a change in the verse, prompting Peruzzi to step in. However, the core idea of the song was mine. We made some adjustments; that’s when Musa Keys and Peruzzi got involved.”
