Harrysong Calls Out Kcee Over His Royalties: “I Deserve What Is Rightfully Mine”

Nigerian singer, Harrysong, has accused his former label boss, Kingsley Okonkwo, popularly known as Kcee, of withholding his royalties.

Taking to his Instagram story, Harrysong appealed to the 5 Star music boss to refund his money and release his songs. He expressed his frustration, stating that for over 7 years, Kcee has been collecting 100% of his royalties and controlling his songs. Harrysong pleaded for fairness, emphasizing that he deserves what is rightfully his.

Seeking support on Twitter, Harrysong urged his followers to help him appeal to Kcee for the release of his royalties. He also emphasized that he deserves his rightful earnings and requested that no insults be directed at Kcee during this appeal.

This isn’t the first time Harrysong has confronted individuals within the industry. He had previously accused music executive, Soso Soberekon, of orchestrating attempts on his life. The resulting controversy led to his arrest and subsequently, an apology to Soso.

Harrysong also revealed a harrowing experience during his time with his former label, noting how he had suffered torment and endured attacks. He characterized this period as ‘hell’, lamenting the public’s readiness to believe harmful narratives about him.

The Claim by Logos Olori: “I am the writer behind Davido’s ‘Unavailable’ Song”

Logos Olori, a signee of DMW, asserted that he penned the lyrics to the Grammy-nominated track ‘Unavailable’ by his record label chief Davido, which features Musa Keys.

He expressed that he was the mastermind behind the track, with his colleague Peruzzi contributing to the verse.

In a recent interview with Cool FM in Lagos, the singer revealed this information.

According to Logos Olori: “We created ‘Unavailable’ which got a Grammy nod. The collaborative effort happened in Ajah involving myself, Magicsticks, and Ragee. It was even Rihanna’s favorite song in 2023.”

In a recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, the unconventional musician Charles Oputa, also known as Charly Boy, shared that he was involved in “scamming” banks even before the infamous 419 fraud became widespread in Nigeria.

Co-hosted by actor Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, aka Nedu, Charly Boy discussed his early involvement in financial schemes, stating, “I was scamming banks. Even before una begin hear of 419, I don do small.”

Furthermore, he expressed his desire for a partner who challenges traditional gender roles, stating, “I am tired of a submissive wife and now want a woman who would make me submit.”
