The management of MOUAU has suspended it’s Academic activities indefinitely,after it’s Students took to street a protests over hike in school fees by the university.

Pqconnect reported that the Micheal Okpara University Of Agriculture Umudike, students protest over Increment of school fees by the school management for the 2023 /2024 Session.

According to records, over 70% of students were yet to pay school fees and this lead to the management chasing out students from the exam hall.

Today, the students expressed their anger which lead to a massive protest that started around 9: am in the morning.

The Students of MOUAU are calling on Abia state government and also the Federal government to look into the case by allowing students to partake in the first semester examination for those that can’t pay the fees.

“We no go gree o, we no gree o” students chants during the protest today!
