Following her daughter’s birthday celebration, Kiekie expresses gratitude for love and prayers
Nigerian skitmaker, Bukunmi Adeaga Ilori, popularly known as Kiekie, has written a heartfelt appreciation note to the public in the aftermath of her daughter’s first birthday festivities.
She took to her Instagram page to share a video from her daughter’s birthday party, which was attended by several celebrities including Brodashaggi, Simi, Tobi Bakre, Kate Henshaw, and Shaffy Bello, among others.
Kiekie expressed her unwavering commitment to celebrating the goodness of God in her daughter’s life on every possible occasion, emphasizing that her daughter’s birthday was truly remarkable.
She extended her heartfelt appreciation to everyone who contributed to making her daughter’s birthday a memorable event, acknowledging their prayers and love. She specifically mentioned her daughter’s friends, uncles, aunts, and most importantly, her grandparents.

In a birthday message to her firstborn, Kiekie referred to her daughter as her Thanksgiving baby, highlighting her as the youngest and purest teacher she has ever had.
Kiekie conveyed how her daughter has shown her a different kind of love that she cannot fully comprehend – a love that brings innermost peace and joy.

In one of the videos, singer Simi was seen dancing with Kiekie to a Wande Coal song. In another, she was seen showering the birthday girl, Nola, with money.
Furthermore, Kiekie caused a stir online when she disclosed the financial dynamics in her household.
During a podcast appearance, she revealed her choice to share and split bills with her husband to establish a more stable partnership, a decision that faced criticism from many.
Actress Uche Ebere questioned Kiekie’s contemplation of divorce while being married and advised her to foster a positive home environment. Similarly, actress Chizzy Alichi and Peggy expressed their opposition towards the idea of splitting bills with their husbands.

The murder of the renowned South African rapper, Kiernan Forbes, popularly known as AKA, has led to the arrest of six suspects.
According to reports from NewsNow, AKA and his close friend were fatally shot outside a restaurant in the coastal city of Durban in February 2023.
Tragically, AKA and his companion, Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motshoane, fell victim to armed assailants as they were heading towards their vehicle.
During a recent press briefing, the KwaZulu-Natal provincial police commissioner, Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, disclosed that the apprehended suspects are set to appear in court on Thursday.
In a widely circulated online video, Lieutenant-General Mkhwanazi provided insights into the arrests and the roles each suspect played in the rapper’s untimely death.
He emphasized, “It became evident that AKA was under surveillance from the airport and Tibz was not the primary target in the fatal shooting on Florida Road in Durban.
“We are aware that they were financially motivated for this act,” he added.

Logos Olori, a signee of DMW, asserted that he penned the lyrics to the Grammy-nominated track ‘Unavailable’ by his record label chief Davido, which features Musa Keys.
He expressed that he was the mastermind behind the track, with his colleague Peruzzi contributing to the verse.
In a recent interview with Cool FM in Lagos, the singer revealed this information.
According to Logos Olori: “We created ‘Unavailable’ which got a Grammy nod. The collaborative effort happened in Ajah involving myself, Magicsticks, and Ragee. It was even Rihanna’s favorite song in 2023.”
He further elaborated: “I crafted the song, while Peruzzi was responsible for the verse. Following the initial creation, Davido requested a change in the verse, prompting Peruzzi to step in. However, the core idea of the song was mine. We made some adjustments; that’s when Musa Keys and Peruzzi got involved.”
