The FMEnv/UNIDO Kpabep Scholarship Program aims to support and empower female Nigerian students pursuing studies in Engineering and Technical fields. The benefits of the scholarship include:

1. Financial Support:

FMEnv/UNIDO Kpabep Scholarship Program for Nigerian female Students

   – A one-time award of up to $4,000 (Paid in tranches, contingent on the successful completion of a training and internship on Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC)).

   – Final award amount varies based on the student’s financial plan and requirements.

2. Training and Internship:

   – Possible training on Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC).

   – Possible 1 – 3 months internship with a company focused on Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC).

3. Additional Benefits:

   – Free collegiate membership with the Society of Women Engineers (SWE).

 Requirements

To be eligible for the FMEnv/UNIDO Scholarship Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Personal Criteria:

   – Identify as a woman.

   – Be a Nigerian citizen.

   – Be below 40 years at the time of application.

2. Academic Criteria:

   – Currently enrolled in an accredited University, Polytechnic, or post-secondary institution based in Nigeria.

   – Currently enrolled in a FULL TIME Certificate, Diploma, Bachelors, Masters, or Doctoral degree program in Engineering sciences and Technology, or related fields.

   – Applicants must be within the final two years of study.

   – No minimum GPA requirement, but candidates must maintain a good academic record.

3. Engagement Criteria:

   – Have a record of leadership and engagement in extracurricular activities.

   – Commit to attending all scholarship engagement events, workshops, and training.

   – Commit to completing an internship in a relevant company, organization, or institution within the period of the scholarship.

   – Commit to writing quarterly progress reports and an internship report.

Timeline:

– Reviews and shortlisting of selected candidates for interview: January 2024
