COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES & TECHNOLOGY DEBA RELEASES ADMISSION FORM FOR 2023/2024 SESSION
This is to inform the general public that the admission form into the School of health technology, Deba for the 2023/2024 academic session is now available online.
Application forms are to be filled online. Payment will be made on the school account as provided on portal via Banks and or ATM cards.
The under-listed are the available programmes for the 2023/2024 session.
- A. Community health extension worker (3yrs-Diploma Cert.)
- B. Junior community health extension worker (2yrs-Certificate)
- C. Medical Laboratory Science (3yrs-Diploma Cert.)
- D. Pharmacy Technician (3yrs-Diploma Cert.)
- E. X-ray technician (3yrs-Diploma Cert.)
- F. Health information management (3yrs-Diploma Cert.)
- G. Dental Surgery (3yrs-Diploma Cert.)
Admission Requirements
Candidates for admission into school of health technology Deba must fulfill the general admission requirements of the admission, as well as the special entry requirements for the school, department and programme into which admission is sought. Candidates seeking for admission Into the School must pass WASSCE, NABTED NECO, and WAEC with Credit in at least five (5) subjects:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Biology
- Physics
- Chemistry
Two sittings are recognized in NECO, NABTED, NECO and WAEC on meeting the entry requirement, the admitted students are then registered, and their documents upon verification with relevant examination bodies. Applicants are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into various programmes of the school.
Duration of the course: The duration of each course at diploma program is three years while certificate is two year.

- Click Make Paymentto pay the required application fee. There are two types of application:
- ND Application (₦5,000)
- Certificate Applications (₦4,000)

- Click Fill application formto fill the application form with your profile information, courses that you want to apply for and your academic qualification
- Print the acknowledgement/examination permit slip, completed application form and the referee form.
- B.The appropriate fees should be paid online with debit (ATM) cards.
- Ensure you make your payments by yourself.
- Do not give to a third party to pay for you.

1ST NIGERIAN TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS CONFERENCE ON UN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGS) ESSAY COMPETITION
Competition Overview:
The SDG Youth Essay Competition offers a grand prize of N1 million for the top three winners, along with free sponsorship to attend the 1st Nigeria Tertiary Institution Conference on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in April 2024 in Abuja.
Competition Requirements:
1. Eligibility:
– Open exclusively to undergraduates in Nigerian tertiary institutions.
2. Entry Guidelines:
– Topic:The Role of Students in Attainment of SDG4
– length: Essays should be 1500 words.
– Entry Period: Thursday, February 1, 2024 – Thursday, February 29, 2024
– Referencing: APA Style (6th Edition).
– Font: Times New Roman, 12-point font size.
– Documentation: Typed in 1.5 line spacing, MS Word format only.
– Plagiarism: Only original content is accepted; plagiarized entries will be disqualified.

Topic:
The theme for the 2024 competition is “Protecting the Nigerian Child from the Dangers of Online Technology.” Participants are tasked with exploring strategies to safeguard children in an increasingly digital world.
Eligibility:
– Open to primary and secondary school students in Nigeria aged 9 to 16.
– Junior category (ages 9 to 12) essays must not exceed 1,000 words.
– Senior category (ages 13 to 16) essays must not exceed 1,500 words.
