Unubiko Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to enhancing the quality of life in underprivileged communities through education, healthcare, and community development initiatives, is pleased to announce the commencement of its 2023/2024 scholarship scheme.

Objective:

Unubiko Foundation Tertiary Education Scholarship Awards

The scholarship aims to support deserving students from Abia State enrolled in state and federal tertiary institutions across Nigeria, as well as non-Abian students studying in state and federal tertiary institutions within Abia State.

This scholarship scheme underscores the foundation’s dedication to fostering educational progression, with a particular focus on supporting the girl-child.

Categories and Eligibility:

The scholarship is divided into three categories:

1. University

2. Polytechnic

3. College of Education

Eligible Programs:

Students pursuing full-time degrees, diplomas, or certifications in the following fields are invited to apply:

– Accountancy

– Agricultural Science

– Architecture

– Business Administration/Economics

– Computer Science

– Education Technology

– Environmental Studies/Surveying

– Geology/Geophysics/Geo Informatics

– Law

– Mass Communication/Journalism

– Engineering

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

– Minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.0 in a 5.0 grade system or equivalent for the University category.

– Minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 in a 4.0 grade system or equivalent for the Polytechnic category.

– Minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.0 in a 5.0 grade system or equivalent for the College of Education category.

– Minimum of six O-level credits, including English language and Mathematics, obtained in one sitting.

 

Application Process:

Interested applicants should follow these steps:

1. Click on the “Apply” tab on the scholarship portal.

2. Complete the application form before the deadline on the 28th of February, 2024.

Important Notes:

– Only applications submitted through the UNUBIKO FOUNDATION portal will be considered.

– Applicants must undergo a screening test.

– Accuracy and completeness of information are paramount.

– There are no fees associated with the application process; it is entirely free.
