UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA NSSUKA ANNOUNCES ADMISSION INTO CENTRAL BANK OF NIGERIA COLLABORATIVE POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMMES

Applications are invited from interested candidates into the Central Bank of Nigeria Collaborative Postgraduate Programmes (CBN-CPP). The CBN-CPP, which is the Central Bank of Nigeria’s flagship intervention in tertiary education offers quality postgraduate education devoid of disruptions. One of its Centres is the Central Bank of Nigeria Centre for Economics and Finance presently located at University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus .

 

 

 

 

 

The courses offered include:
• Master of Science in Accounting/Accountancy (Forensic Accounting and Auditing or Financial Accounting and Reporting).
• Master of Science in Banking and Finance (Financial Innovation & Technology or Credit & Treasury Management).
• Master of Science in Economics (Monetary Economics, Development Economics or Financial Economics & Markets).
• Master of Business Administration with specialization in Credit and Risk Management, Taxation, Finance, and Business Analytics.

ELIGIBILITY
The CBN-CPP is open to everyone willing to pursue enduring academic and professional careers in the relevant disciplines in both the private and public sectors. Specifically, the programme is meant for:
(i) applicants from relevant public sector organizations; (ii) applicants attached to, or being sponsored by private institutions, or organizations as part of their staff development programmes, and
(iii) independent applicants on self-sponsorship.

 

 

 

 

 

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Interested candidates must possess a minimum of Second-Class Honours (Lower Division) Bachelor’s Degree in related fields and must have completed the mandatory NYSC Programme.

DURATION AND MODE OF STUDY
The duration of each programme shall be a maximum of four (4) semesters and strictly full time uninterrupted studies. It shall consist of teaching/course work, research (dissertation), oral/written examination, and case studies.

AWARD OF DEGREE/ GRADUATION
Graduation requirements shall be as determined by the University Senate and subject to meeting the minimum academic requirements prescribed by the National Universities Commission (NUC).

TUITION FEES
The tuition fees are N600,000.00 in all for Master of Science degree programmes and N1,000,000.00 in all for Master of Business Administration. The fees are payable either in full once or at most in two installments of
N400,000.00 in the first year and a balance of N200,000 in the second year for the Master of Science Programmes and 600,000.00 once or in two installments for the first year, and the balance of N400,000.00 in the second year for Masters in Business Administration. N/B:( The N600,000.00 & N1,000,000.00 tuition fees are for the entire duration of the programme)
Fully air conditioned accomodation facilities with furniture, water, light, available facility managers for cleaning and maintenance, cafeteria, common rooms for relaxation are available at 80,000 and 120,000 naira for single rooms and suites respectively per session.

IMPORTANT DATES
Screening examinations by the School of Postgraduate Studies holds on Wednesday, 11th May 2023.
Release/ Publication of Admission letters and Registration from 18th to 31st of May 2023.
Lectures start 1st June, 2023
