UNIVERSITIES THAT DO NOT WRITE POST UTME EXAM

It is true that many universities use aptitude tests/exams to screen candidates during Post-UTME but there are some Federal and State Universities that do not use aptitude tests. Some of these universities will just screen your credentials and then offer admission to candidates that have met their requirements.

The credentials screened are usually, O’level results, JAMB Original Result, Birth Certificate etc. The universities usually state the credentials or documents you are required to provide.

These universities may require that you bring the credentials to the school for the screening or simply upload them online via the school portal and then wait for the outcome of the screening.

We understand that some candidates are afraid to choose schools that use aptitude tests or exams as their Post-UTME screening method. Maybe because they do not want to go through the stress of another exam after going through JAMB exam or because they believe they stand a better chance of gaining admission without it.

Whatever is the reason, we have provided a list of some of the Federal and State universities that do not require candidates to go through aptitude tests/exams during Post-UTME screening. You can check the list below and consider any of them. Note, the list is based on how the schools had been conducting their screening for past few years.

UNIZIK had always conducted the POST UTME, until COVID-19, prepare yourself ahead in case they want to conduct the post utme exam this year admission, but the last admission they conducted post utme exam was 2019.

And Universities like, Unilorin, UNIABUJA, UI, UNN had always conducted Post UTME Exam. Universities like UNILAG, UNN that didn’t conduct post utme exam last year 2022 admission was due to the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) nationwide strike then.

If your school of choice is not on this list, the most likely answer is that the school use exam as a Post-UTME screening method.
