TRAGEDY: Tears as Commander of Amotekun Is Declared Dead

- The people of Ogun State have been struck with sad news following the demise of a prominent security expert
- CP David Ajibola Akinremi (retd), the commander of the Amotekun security outfit, has been declared dead
- The former police officer was reported to have died on Monday, June 26, after battling an unknown illness.
Ogun, Abeokuta – The Commander of the Ogun State Security Network Agency, Amotekun, CP David Ajibola Akinremi (retd), is dead. As reported by Nigerian Tribune, it was gathered that the security chief died on Monday, June 26, having battled with an undisclosed ailment.

The Amotekun Corps, under his watch, worked with other security agents in their attempts to rid the State of crimes, Vanguard reported. Confirming Akinremi’s death, the Commander of the So-Safe Corps, Soji Ganzallo, described Akinremi’s death as a rude shock.
