PRECIOUS CORNERSTONE UNIVERSITY POST-UTME 2023: ELIGIBILITY AND REGISTRATION DETAILS
Precious Cornerstone University (PCU) for 2023/2024 session has been announced. Applications are invited from suitably qualified UTME and Direct Entry candidates for admission into the Precious Cornerstone University (PCU) various first-degree programmes for the 2023/2024 academic session.
ELIGIBILITY
Candidates that qualify to participate in the screening exercise are:
Those who are seeking admission into 100 Level and scored the prescribed cut-off mark.
Those who are awaiting SSCE, NECO, GCE or NABTEB results are also eligible to participate in the screening exercise.
Those who are seeking admission into 200 Level (Direct Entry) and who possess minimum of 2 passes in relevant subjects at Advanced Level or JUPEB/IJMB
Those who are seeking transfer into 200 Level from other Universities
Those who scored less than prescribed cut-off mark or who did not sit for the 2023 JAMB UTME are eligible to enroll for the 8 month JUPEB Programme that will qualify them for admission into 200 Level, through Direct Entry.

Candidates seeking undergraduate admission into Precious Cornerstone University (PCU), Ibadan as their University of Choice including Direct Entry candidates, those seeking admission via change of institution and transfer, are formally invited to attend the 2023/2024 screening exercise.
Applicants must bring to the Screening Centre, the following documents viz.
Two (2) Recent Passport Photographs
Original copy of Birth Certificate
Print out of the 2023 JAMB UTME Result Slip
Copies of academic result Ordinary Level Result, JUPEB, IJMB or equivalents (If Available)
Writing Materials
School Testimonial of last school attended by the applicant
Reference Letter from a well-known/reputable public figure to vouchsafe candidate’s good character and conduct
Evidence of Processing/Screening fee payment

1ST NIGERIAN TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS CONFERENCE ON UN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGS) ESSAY COMPETITION
Competition Overview:
The SDG Youth Essay Competition offers a grand prize of N1 million for the top three winners, along with free sponsorship to attend the 1st Nigeria Tertiary Institution Conference on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in April 2024 in Abuja.
Competition Requirements:
1. Eligibility:
– Open exclusively to undergraduates in Nigerian tertiary institutions.
2. Entry Guidelines:
– Topic:The Role of Students in Attainment of SDG4
– length: Essays should be 1500 words.
– Entry Period: Thursday, February 1, 2024 – Thursday, February 29, 2024
– Referencing: APA Style (6th Edition).
– Font: Times New Roman, 12-point font size.
– Documentation: Typed in 1.5 line spacing, MS Word format only.
– Plagiarism: Only original content is accepted; plagiarized entries will be disqualified.

Topic:
The theme for the 2024 competition is “Protecting the Nigerian Child from the Dangers of Online Technology.” Participants are tasked with exploring strategies to safeguard children in an increasingly digital world.
Eligibility:
– Open to primary and secondary school students in Nigeria aged 9 to 16.
– Junior category (ages 9 to 12) essays must not exceed 1,000 words.
