NABTEB RELEASES 2022 NOV/DEC RESULTS, 76 PER CENT OBTAIN FIVE CREDITS

The National Business and Technical Examination Board, NABTEB has released its 2022 November/December results for the Senior Secondary School Certificate, SSCE.

The examination board released the results on Thursday, 23rd of February, 2023, with 21,103 candidates gets five (5) credits and above which include General Mathematics and English Language.

While addressing the public on Thursday, the Registrar of the National Business and Technical Examination Board, NABTEB Prof. Ifeoma Isiugo-Abanihe revealed in Benin city, total number 21,103 candidates obtained five credits and above which accumulate to 75.96 per cent of the just released SSCE results.

She added, 26,561 candidates representing 95.6 per cent of 100 per cent scored/obtained five credits and above with or without General Mathematics and English Language.

Isiugo-Abanihe also revealed that, the board has continued strengthen it’s quality assurance mechanism, which also include measures to prevent examination malpractice.

In the 2022 November/December examination, 123 candidates were found to be involved in examination malpractice, which represent 0.39 per cent of total candidates that sat for the examination.

We’ve seen improvement in curbing examination malpractice in last year examination, compared to year 2021 November/December certificate examination where 244 candidates were caught involving in examination malpractice which represent 0.75 per cent of the percentage of students that sat for the examination the year.

Examination malpractice has become rampant in our society now, that’s why we put all measures in place to checkmate examination malpractice, we are happy to see improvement in reduction of the unacceptable act this year, compare to 2021 year examination.

She also use the avenue to re-inform public of the need to increase emphasis on Technical and Vocational Education and Training at all levels in the nation. The primary objective of the board is to train our youths and adults to be self independent and prepare and also train them to be professional in relevant skills.

She encourage youth and adults to enroll for NABTEB as it prepare them ahead of the future and the examination is available in all levels.

Respectives candidates can now proceed to their individual respective portal to check their NABTEB results.

How to check NABTEB results:

1. Visit the board website https://eworld.nabteb.gov.ng/
2. Enter your Candidates Identification Number e.g 1234567890
3. Select the Type of Examination
4. Enter the 4 digits of your Rxamination Year e.g 2022
5. Enter the Card Serial Number found on the reverse side of your Scratch card.
6. Enter the 12-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Scratch card e.g 0123456789035
7. Then Click on Submit and wait for your results to come up.
