The Islamic Republic of Iran News Network (IRINN), commonly known as the Shabake Khabar or Shabake Six (شبکه خبر پخش زنده), is one of Iran’s state-run television channels managed by the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Radio and Television. The network broadcasts short and detailed news and news analysis programs in the style of world-famous news networks. In the summer of 2013, Khabar Network started broadcasting around the clock. Shabake Khabar is managed by the political deputy of the Radio and Television of the Islamic Republic of Iran, but is separate from the central news unit of the radio and television. However, reports and images submitted by reporters from the Central News Unit in foreign cities and countries are also broadcast by Shabake 6.
