VILLANOVA POLYTECHNIC HND ADMISSION FORM FOR 2022/2023 SESSION

Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants for admission to Higher National Diploma (Morning and Evening) Programmes for the 2022/2023 Academic Session leading to the award of Higher National Diploma in Computer Science.
1.0 ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should possess:
1.1 (i) National Diploma (ND) with at least Lower Credit in the Course/Programme of choice and five (5) relevant Credits including English Language and Mathematics at the SSCE/NECO/GCE or NABTEB O’Level in not more than two (2) sittings.
(ii) Applicants are advised to visit the Polytechnic Website www.villanovapolytechnic.edu.ng to avail themselves of the requisite entry requirements for the National Diploma (ND) of each programme that make them prima-facie qualified for the HND programmes.
1.2 a minimum of one (1) year post ND cognate work experience (Industrial Training) in addition to 1.1.
However, applicants with PASS grade at the National Diploma (ND) must have minimum of two (2) years post ND cognate work experience.
2.0 METHOD OF APPLICATION
Applicants seeking for admission to Villanova Polytechnic Imesi Ile, Osun State are required to complete the Institution’s application form available on-line from Thursday, 1st September 2022 and close on Wednesday, 30th November, 2022..
3.0 ADMISSION FORM GUIDELINES
Application Form
(i) Applicants should visit The Polytechnic Website www.villanovapolytechnic.edu.ng to initate their application.
(ii) Applicant can initiate their application using their JAMB Registration Number (if available) or clicking on fresh application
(iii) Applicants can also make payment with their debit card (Master Card, Visa Card and Verve Card) following the instructions on the invoice generation page. (Note: before payment with debit card, print your Invoice)
(iv) After completion of application form, applicants are to pay the Application fee of 13000 naira only through the online payment system (NOTE: Payment should only be made through the specified accounts)
(v) Applicants are advised to carefully read through their forms before submission.
(vi) Applicants should endeavour to print their acknowledgement slip and screening forms.

4.0 SUBMISSION OF FORMS
Applicants are to please note that the application for admission will close on Monday, 31st Tuesday, 2023.
NOTE:
- Applicants should also ensure that the transcripts of their Academic Records are forwarded directly by their former Institutions to reach;

(ii) The Polytechnic is not bound to process the application forms of applicants whose:
(a) transcripts are not received on due date or who submit them by hand;
(b) forms are not properly completed and received after the closing date;
(c) National Diploma (ND) Statement of Result reads August, 2022 or later, for applicants with grade of Lower Credit and above.
(d) National Diploma (ND) Statement of Result reads August, 2022 or later, for applicants with grade of Pass.
(e) all applications with false details will be rejected.

OLABISI ONABANJO UNIVERSITY (OOU) RELEASES FIRST BATCH UTME ADMISSION LIST FOR THE 2023/2024 ACADEMIC SESSION

Successful Candidates are advised to please adhere strictly to the information displayed on their Portals and take further action immediately. Candidates offered Admission who do not comply with the Instructions on their Portals by Thursday, 23rd November, 2023 will be deemed as having forfeited the Offer.

Candidates are also to proceed to JAMB CAPS and accept their admission offer.

PRESIDENT TINUBU CANCELS 40% IGR DEDUCTION FROM NIGERIAN UNIVERSITIES

President Bola Tinubu has cancelled the controversial deduction of 40 per cent of Internally Generated Revenues from federal universities across the country.
The President who was represented by the Minister of Education, Tahir Mamman, spoke on Friday at the 75th Founder’s Day ceremony of the University of Ibadan and described the policy implementation as “ill-timed”.
He also maintained that it was not the best time for such a policy since our universities are struggling.
In his speech as a Visitor to the university, Tinubu pledged his commitment to the reform of the nation’s education sector as the bedrock for national development.
He said, “The 40 per cent IGR automatic deduction policy stands cancelled. This is not the best time for such a policy since our universities are struggling.”

The list of admitted candidates have been uploaded online via JAMB CAPS. Candidates are to follow the procedure below to check;
How To Check the Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
- •Visit:https://www.jamb.gov.ng/Efacility and login with your registered email address and password to access your dashboard
- •Click on ‘Check Admission Status,
- •Click on ‘Access my CAPS’ Click on ‘Admission Status’ to see if you have been offered admission.
Candidates who have been offered admission are to proceed to click”ACCEPT” or “REJECT” to indicate acceptance or rejection of the admission offer. For those whose status is showing “Admission Still in Progress” or “Not Admitted”, you are advised to keep checking as the status may change anytime soon. Congratulations to the admitted ones!!!
