RUGIPO Post-UTME form, eligibility, application, fee, screening and registration details of the 2022/2023 Academic Session have been announced.

RUGIPO Post-UTME 2022: eligibility, and registration details

This is to invite all candidates who applied for admission to the Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo during the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and those who wrote the examination and now wish to secure admission into the Polytechnic that they should register on-line for screening exercise for the 2022/2023 Academic Session.

Candidates are enjoined to visit the Portal of the Polytechnic (sf.rugipo.edu.ng) for further information and register after paying through UNIFIED PAYMENTS PLATFORM with the use of master card or verve card in any Commercial Bank throughout the country for a Screening fee, Administrative fee and portal fee to access the Website.

 

Meanwhile, the screening fee is Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only. Applicants for the screening exercise are also requested to upload the following items of information:

(i) JAMB Data (with score)

(ii) Ordinary Level results (WAEC, NECO, GCE and NABTEB)

(iii) Candidates are also to upload their ‘O’level result(s) on JAMB CAPS before final consideration for admission

Each candidate is advised to visit the portal of the Polytechnic on a regular basis for emerging development on his/her admission status.

EID-UL-MAWLID: FG DECLARES WEDNESDAY PUBLIC HOLIDAY

The Federal Government has declared Wednesday, September 27, 2023, as a public holiday.

This is to mark the Eid-ul-Mawlid celebration and the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad.

The announcement was made in a statement on Monday by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Oluwatoyin Akinlade.

She noted that the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, urged Nigerians to be tolerant.

The statement partly read, “The Minister congratulates all Muslim faithful both home and in the diaspora for witnessing this year’s occasion.

“His admonition to Nigerians is to imbibe the spirit of love, patience, tolerance and
perseverance which are deep spiritual virtues that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) exemplified. 

“Tunji-Ojo also urged Nigerians, especially our youths, to embrace the virtues of hard work and peaceful disposition toward fellow humans, irrespective of faith, ideology, social class, and ethnicity, and join hands with President Bola Tinubu’s administration in its effort to build a progressive and enviable Nation that all citizens will be proud of.”
