Reasons why Apostle Chibuzor stopped sponsoring Happie Boys surfaced

Lucky Udu, a social media influencer and activist, has revealed what Omega Power Ministries’ General Overseer, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, told him about the former viral security guys, Happie Boys.

Recall that after the lads revealed that they had dropped out of school in Cyprus where they were put on scholarship, social media was flooded with varied reactions.

They went on to say that the clergyman only financed them for six months.

While some have labeled the guys as rude, others have backed them up.

In a recent development, Lucky Udu, who claims to have direct contact to the OPM pastor, stated that once the dollar rate increased, the Apostle found it hard to continue funding the young men abroad.

He also asked the Happie Boys to return to Nigeria, Ghana, or Benin Republic to continue their studies, but they refused.

Lucky Udu went on to say that the prophet has a lot of obligations, with over 4000 students abroad.

He also criticized on the guys’ dress sense, which he described as indecent, after they arrived in Cyprus.

He wrote:

I just spoke to the OPM pastor and he said that when dollar went up, things became difficult and he couldn’t sustain them, he adviced them to return to a Nigerian university or he sends them to Ghana or benin republic to continue their education. The burden became too much to bear but they didn’t understand nor listen.”

“That man has too many responsibilities. Over 4000 students abroad. He send the children to school and then, the parents cater for their children. Unfortunately, not everyone can cope with such opportunities. Some will spend all their opportunities thinking the man will provide everything for them. If their family can squeeze out something to sustain them, let them do so. I’m not judging those boys o but before the left Nigeria, they were dressing decently but after they left for Cyprus, they started dressing indecently and expensive when they fully know that they have no kobo compared to what the man of God can assist with. I feel for them sha.

Logos Olori, a signee of DMW, asserted that he penned the lyrics to the Grammy-nominated track ‘Unavailable’ by his record label chief Davido, which features Musa Keys.

He expressed that he was the mastermind behind the track, with his colleague Peruzzi contributing to the verse.

In a recent interview with Cool FM in Lagos, the singer revealed this information.

According to Logos Olori: “We created ‘Unavailable’ which got a Grammy nod. The collaborative effort happened in Ajah involving myself, Magicsticks, and Ragee. It was even Rihanna’s favorite song in 2023.”

He further elaborated: “I crafted the song, while Peruzzi was responsible for the verse. Following the initial creation, Davido requested a change in the verse, prompting Peruzzi to step in. However, the core idea of the song was mine. We made some adjustments; that’s when Musa Keys and Peruzzi got involved.”
