The University of Lausanne is offering around ten grants to students who are willing to undergo a degree program at the institution.

The scholarship is granted for the minimum statutory period of the programme chosen by the student. It amounts to CHF 1,600 per month for the complete duration of the masters (one and a half years or two years depending on the chosen masters), with the exception of cases of definitive failure after the first year.

Duration of Scholarship: one-and-a-half years or two years (subject to deduction for paid placements or exempt semesters, if any). Abandonment of the programme results in suspension of the grant.

Eligibility: 

• You have obtained a foreign university degree considered equivalent to a bachelor at UNIL before the beginning of the masters programme at UNIL.
• You have distinguished yourself during your studies, especially through particularly brilliant academic results.
• You have a language level of at least B2 (according to the European Language Portfolio global scale) in French or at least C1 in English according to the language in which your chosen masters is taught.
• You must not be registered with UNIL

Application Process: You do not have to apply for the master’s degree at the Admission Office (SII) of UNIL.

Candidates for the Masters Scholarship must apply online and upload their complete application file in PDF during the online application (refer to the document in the margin, “list of documents for an application”). Application files in PDF sent by email and incomplete application files will not be considered.
