I DON’T HAVE SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS- JAMB REGISTRAR, PROF OLOYEDE
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB Registrar, Prof. Oloyede Is-haq has cleared air against the news circulating around on social media that he sent a friend request to some people that is originated from him. He hereby distance himself from the news that the social media account is not own or operate by him.
Oloyede made this statement on Friday, 27th of January, 2023 through his board’s Head, Public Affairs and Protocol, Dr Fabian Benjamin.
The statement read as follows: “Our attention has been drawn to a LinkedIn account allegedly to be the account of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB Registrar, Prof. Oloyede, the account was said to have been sending friend requests to members of the public. The board disassociate itself from the account that was said it was originated from him.m, said it was create to defraud the members of the public.
“The examination board hereby use this opportunity to inform the public that Prof. Oloyede does not operate or own any social media account and has never sent friend requests to anyone or or asked anybody to operate or open or manage an account on his behalf.
LinkedIn is a social networking site designed mainly for business community for people with like minds or with same objective. However, the aims and objective of the site is to connect people of same goals together, people they know and trust professionally. Prof. Oloyede has not join this site.
We request the general public to be careful of scammers who were gullible of defrauding the public.
This disclaimer became necessary in view of some unscrupulous elements, who opened a LinkedIn account on the Registrar behalf to help to network business enterprises, managing careers, running a research form m, providing jobs, connecting people with business contacts of industry through the said LinkedIn account.
The board hereby urge and advise the general populce to be wary of these scammers, criminal so as not to fall victims.
The board will not be responsible for any transaction made or done through the said LinkedIn account or any other social handle created on behalf of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB Registrar.
We urge the general public to be very vigilant.

1ST NIGERIAN TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS CONFERENCE ON UN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGS) ESSAY COMPETITION

The SDG Youth Essay Competition offers a grand prize of N1 million for the top three winners, along with free sponsorship to attend the 1st Nigeria Tertiary Institution Conference on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in April 2024 in Abuja.

– Open exclusively to undergraduates in Nigerian tertiary institutions.
2. Entry Guidelines:
– Topic:The Role of Students in Attainment of SDG4
– length: Essays should be 1500 words.
– Entry Period: Thursday, February 1, 2024 – Thursday, February 29, 2024
– Referencing: APA Style (6th Edition).
– Font: Times New Roman, 12-point font size.
– Documentation: Typed in 1.5 line spacing, MS Word format only.
– Plagiarism: Only original content is accepted; plagiarized entries will be disqualified.
