NABTEB RELEASES 2023 GCE EXAMINATION RESULTS – SEE HOW TO CHECK

THE National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB), has announced the release of results of its recently concluded 2023 Ordinary level/Craft Certificate examinations and the Advanced-level/Mastercraft certificate examinations for private candidates where it recorded 71.27 percent five credit including Mathematics and English performance. The Registrar/Chief Executive Officer, National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB), Prof. (Mrs.) Ifeoma Isiugo-Abanihe disclosed this to newsmen at the Board’s National Headquarters, in Benin City, Edo State.

According to her, out of 39,478 candidates that sat for the NBC/NTC examinations, 28,137 obtained five (5) credits and above including English Language and Mathematics representing 71.27 % whereas, 37,476 candidates scored five (5) credits and above with or without English Language and Mathematics representing 94.93 %. Analyses of candidates’ enrolment for the examinations indicate that total enrolment was 43,594 candidates, consisting of 26,004 males and 17,590 females who registered for the examinations in 1,746 centres.

NABTEB releases 2023 GCE examination results

The NABTEB Registrar added that 246 candidates representing 0.57 % of the total candidates that sat for the examinations were found to be involved in examination malpractice.

Please follow these steps  to check your results:

1. Go to the nearest NABTEB office to get your results checking PINs or click here to purchase

2. Visit https://eworld.nabteb.gov.ng

3. Enter your Candidate Identification Number e.g. 15001-001

4. Select the Type of Examination(Nov/Dec)

5. Enter the 4 digits of your Examination Year e.g. 2023

6. Enter the Card Serial Number and PIN found on your photocard. The Card Serial Number has an alphabet prefix followed by digits e.g. N123456789

7. Enter the 12-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Scratch card eg. 012345678912
Click Submit and wait for the results window to come up

Click on the ‘Send Results to E-mail’ box

JAMB REGISTERS 1,975,926 CANDIDATES AS REGISTRATION WINDS UP, PRINTING OF MOCK SLIPS BEGINS TODAY

As the JAMB 2024 UTME registration finally comes to an end, JAMB has disclosed that about 1,975,926 candidates have so far been registered. This was contained in the weekly bulletin of the board. The registration which commenced January 15th, 2024 ended yesterday February 26th, 2024.

The bulletin added that 260,249 candidates have successfully registered for the MockUTME, which is scheduled to be held on Thursday, 7th March.

“Those who have registered to sit for the 2024 UTME mock are to proceed to print out their mock notification slips from Tuesday, Feb. 27. The notification slip indicates the candidates’ registration number, venue, time and date of the examination and other necessary instructions. Details of steps required to print the slips will be available in a later publication and all candidates, who have the Myschool app or those in the Myschool JAMB group will be sent notifications appropriately.

‘It is imperative for the candidate to be aware of these vital pieces of information which are necessary for their participation in the examination,” the board said.
