ADEKUNLE AJASIN UNIVERSITY, AKUNGBA AKOKO (AAUA) RELEASES 2023/2024 UTME/DE ADMISSION FORM
Candidates eligible for the Screening exercise are:
- Those who made Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) their institution of First choice in the 2023/2024 UTME and scored 160 and above;
- Direct Entry candidates who chose AAUA as their institution of First choice; and
- Those who sat for the 2023/2024 UTME, scored 160 and above and are willing to change and make Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko their institution of First choice.
Note: Candidates who did not make Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko their institution of First choice initially, but are willing to choose AAUA, should make the necessary change of Institution on JAMB CAPS to AAUA before the close of registration for the screening exercise.
All eligible candidates are to visit the University website https://putme.aaua.edu.ng to register for the screening as from Monday, 7th August, 2023 after making a payment of Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N2,500.00) only. Payment should be made online on the University Screening Portal.
Guidelines to Candidates for Online Registration
i. Visit https://putme.aaua.edu.ng
ii. Create an account with valid JAMB registration number and E-mail address;
iii. Confirm your E-Mail address by clicking on the link sent to your E-mail (check spam box, if not found in your E-mail inbox);
iv. Log in and make payment of #2, 500.00 only via E-transact;
v. After successful payment, candidates are to fill their Bio-data with valid details; and
vi. Print out Bio-data slip.
General Instructions to all Candidates
i. Candidates are advised to correctly upload all their O’Level results on the portal. A maximum of two (2) sittings is allowed in the case of O’Level requirements.
ii. AAUA accepts WAEC, NECO and NABTEB O’Level results.
iii. AAUA accepts 1st Degree (Second Class Lower) ND (Upper Credit), HND (Lower Credit), JUPEB (6 Points) and NCE (8 Points) for Direct Entry candidates.
iv. Candidates awaiting O’Level results may also apply but must upload their results on both the University portal and JAMB CAPS as soon as they are released for seamless admission processing.
v. Candidates are to click on Admission Requirements to check for O’Level and UTME subject requirements for the respective courses of choice.
vi. Candidates who did not comply with the UTME subject combination are requested to change to their desirable courses on JAMB CAPS.
vii. Candidates are advised to read the O’Level requirements of their courses and select the right subject combinations, which must include Credit passes in English Language and Mathematics for all courses in AAUA.
viii. Candidates should ensure that the online form is carefully completed, following ALL necessary instructions, as “mistake(s)” may be seen as misrepresentation/falsification of documents, which shall lead to disqualification.
ix. Candidates are then to printout evidence of completion of transaction and keep for future reference.
It is compulsory for all candidates to participate in the on-line screening exercise to qualify them for consideration by the University.
SPECIAL NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE APPLICANTS a) The registration for the online screening exercise commences on Monday, 7th.August, 2023.
b) Candidates willing to apply for LAW programme must score not less than 250 marks in the 2023 UTME.
c) Candidates are advised to provide valid and active E-mail addresses and phone numbers (without DND “DO NOT DISTURB”). The University will not take responsibility for failure to get information as a result of invalid E-mail addresses and non-functional phone numbers.

PENTAGON PARTNERS NATIONAL ESSAY COMPETITION FOR UNDERGRADUATE LAW STUDENTS
Competition Overview:

SYSTEMSPECS CHILDREN’S DAY ESSAY COMPETITION (CDEC), 2024
Purpose:
Inaugurated in 2020, the CDEC is part of SystemSpecs’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment to promoting capacity development in the Nigerian ICT industry. By encouraging young Nigerians to tackle everyday issues, the competition contributes to intellectual growth and societal progress.
Topic:
The theme for the 2024 competition is “Protecting the Nigerian Child from the Dangers of Online Technology.” Participants are tasked with exploring strategies to safeguard children in an increasingly digital world.
Eligibility:
– Open to primary and secondary school students in Nigeria aged 9 to 16.
– Junior category (ages 9 to 12) essays must not exceed 1,000 words.
– Senior category (ages 13 to 16) essays must not exceed 1,500 words.
Prizes:
– Winners will receive generous rewards, including a high-capacity laptop, premium headphones, a portable laptop stand, a smart wristwatch, and one year of internet data, among other items.
– Consolation prizes will be awarded to other participants.
