OYO STATE COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE AND TECHNOLOGY (OYSCATECH) RELEASES ND/HND ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2023/2024 ACADEMIC SESSION

Notice is hereby given to all candidates who chose OYSCATECH as their Institution of first choice or those willing to change to OYSCATECH as their Institution of first choice in the 2023 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) that the 1st Post-UTME Screening Exercise will be conducted on Tuesday, November 21 and Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at 8:00 am each day.

For a candidate to be eligible for the exercise, he or she must have scored 100 marks and above in the 2023 UTME. Applicants are to note that before admission can be offered by the Polytechnic, they must have uploaded their O’Level results on CAPS and once admission is offered, the candidates must either accept or reject the admission on CAPS before JAMB’s closure of CAPS for the year in order to be on JAMB Matriculation list for the year.

ND ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Candidates for the National Diploma Programmes must possess the SSCE/GCE conducted by WAEC, NECO or NABTEB with at least five (5) subjects at Credit Level obtained at not more than two (2) sittings.

Candidates who did not choose the College are urgently required to apply for change of course/institution to the College through JAMB.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Applicants are to proceed to the admission website of the College http://www.oyscatech.edu.ng to make a payment of a fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only for the purpose of online registration for the screening exercise using Inter-Switch Enabled Debit Card (ATM).

Applicants are expected to carefully complete and submit the online application form having uploaded a digital copy of their passport photographs with white background which must be in JPEG and must not be more than 20kb. Any applicant with blurred picture on the post UTME screening registration form will not be admitted into the screening centre as the photograph will be used as a means of identification. The PRINT OUT of post UTME screening registration and payment receipt should be presented by all candidates at the screening venue before admittance to participate in the exercise. Candidates should note that satisfaction of this requirement is mandatory. For ease of communication, applicants are to provide valid and active email addresses and phone numbers.

Any applicant who fails to present himself/herself for the Screening Exercise as scheduled, automatically forfeits being considered for admission.

HND ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

The following are the entry requirements for the Higher National Diploma(HND) Programmes of the College:

(A) 50’Level credit passes as required for National Diploma (ND)

(B) A minimum of Lower Credit at National Diploma Level

(C)1 year post National Diploma cognate experience

(D) NCE in Agricultural Science (Double Major) With at least a Merit Pass

(E)NCE in Home Economics with a least a Merit Pass

(F) Candidates with a PASS at National Diploma level will require a minimum of two years work experience.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

The applicants should have regularized his or her National Diploma Admission with JAMB prior to registration. The registration fees for HND programme is six thousand naira (N6,000.00) only and additional N2000 for portal access fees. The copies of the printed form and other relevant documents should be brought to the venue of the screening exercise.

Candidates seeking admission into HND programmes who graduated from other institutions are required to submit transcripts from institutions where they were awarded ND certificates.

REQUIREMENT FOR POST UTME SCREENING

Applicants are required to come along for the POST UTME screening with original and photocopies of all credentials including two-passport photographs, JAMB slip, Local Government Identification, application form and payment slip, birthday certificate and SSCE results.

WARNING

A Candidate who provides false information to secure admission to any programme of this Polytechnic and upon discovery of such at any point in time will be prosecuted by law enforcement agencies and the admission of such candidate shall be withdrawn.

Candidates are also advised to BEWARE OF FRAUDSTERS as the College will not be liable for any transaction with any unauthorized person.
