Chaired by the Rector of the Polytechnic, Dr. Salisu Ogbo Usman, the Board disclosed that the decision was part of the resolve to maintain high academic standard and breed worthy academic ambassadors.

Dr. Usman thanked the Chairman and members of the Central Result Verification Committee and the entire members of the Academic Board for their continued support and sustenance of academic standard.

He charged Deans of Schools and Heads of Departments and Units to provide dependable leadership at all times.

He, however, charged students to make adequate use of the available facilities for learning, just as he charged them to be law abiding and shun all social vices within and outside the Campus.
