IGNATIUS AJURU UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION (IAUE) ANNOUNCE MATRICULATION DATE FOR 2023/2024 ACADEMIC SESSION

This is to inform the entire University Community and in particular all fresh students admitted in the 2023/2024 academic session that Matriculation Ceremony for this set of students is scheduled to hold on Saturday, 16th March, 2024 at 10.00 a.m. prompt. The venue is the University Auditorium, Rumuolumeni Campus.

Accordingly, all fresh students are advised to ensure that they complete all registration formalities not later than Monday, 11th March, 2024. Matriculation Numbers will be assigned to only those that have duly registered and paid all fees. Matriculating students should pay the sum of N11,000.00 (Eleven Thousand Naira) only as cost of hiring of the Matriculation gown. All payments must be made on-Line to Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rumuolumeni, Port Harcourt.

IAUE announces matriculation date, 2023/2024

All fresh students should take notice that:
(a) Any student who fails to complete registration formalities and pay his/her school fees before the closure of the portal on Monday, 11th March, 2023 ceases to be a student of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Port Harcourt.

(b) Only students who present evidence of payment of the gowns will be allowed to sign the Matriculation Register.

No unsigned Matriculation Number will be accepted for official documentation in the University. Collection of matriculation gowns from Faculty Officers would commence on Monday, 11th March,

All part-time students are requested to collect their Matriculation gowns from the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) at the St. John’s Diobu Campus, but join their various Faculties in the procession and matriculation.

Matriculation marks the end of registration for the academic session. Any student who fails to register before the Matriculation Ceremony will cease to be a student of the University as no registration will be allowed thereafter.

All academic gowns collected must be returned to the Faculty Officer latest on Thursday, 21st March, 2024. Defaulters will be made to pay a penalty of N1000.00 (One Thousand Hundred Naira) only per day.

Furthermore, all fresh students who have completed registration and paid school fees, should report at the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Centre to be captured for identity card (ID) production.

The Acting Vice-Chancellor congratulates all matriculating students.
