The vice Chancellor. Federal University of Kashere. Prof Umaru A. Pate on Tuesday September 5th received the Former First Lady of Kano State, Prof. Hafsatu Abdullahi Ganduje, wife of the Former Governor of Prof. Hafsatu A. Ganduje Kano State and the current chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje

The Vice Chancellor who was represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor Administration, Prof. Abubakar Umar Gurama warmly welcomed her and stated that the University Management was elated with her joining the institution on sabbatical appointment and expressed satisfaction that the Faculty of Education and indeed the entire University will benefit from her wealth of knowledge and experience describing her as an erudite and vibrant professor Speaking to FUKashere Radio Correspondent. the Former First Lady of Kano State, Prof Hafsatu Abdullahi Ganduje stated that she has joined the University as one of the lecturers in the Department of Educational Foundations on Sabbatical appointment She expressed willingness and readiness to contribute her quota in the training and mentoring students to ensure that the vision and mission of FUK are achieved.

While expressing satisfaction at the warm reception. she stated that after her documentation by the Acting Registrar, Malam Faruk Umar Bayu, she was conducted round by the DVC Admin, Prof. Abubakar Umar Gurama and other members of the University Management to see the University facilities including projects under construction, and expressed satisfaction with the laudable achievements witnessed. She described Radio and Television House as fantastic with state of the art facilities saying that the University is lucky to have the VC Prof. Umaru A. Pate and competent members of Management as well as staff that are delivering on their mandate.

Prof. Hafsatu encouraged the University community and its host community to sustain the peaceful coexistence and admonished staff of FUK Radio to he diligent in the discharge of their duties. She also encouraged the students to study hard so as to earn good CGPA, and class of degree, and also urged lecturers to treat the students as their children by giving them the best, as well as urged the entire university community to be loving and caring to one another.
